Teuber holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toledo along with a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Houston. She is a scenic designer, gifted props artisan, and extraordinary puppet master. Maureen E. Patterson (Lead Designer and Owner of Solus Lighting) first worked with Teuber earlier in 2018 at the Tony Award Winning Cleveland Playhouse on the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Playhouse MFA Acting Program’s production of Fifth of July. When the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland wanted to bring its ArtCares 2015 fundraiser to life and turn the Cleveland Masonic Auditorium into the Moulin Rouge, they teamed with Solus Lighting for their illumination needs.
“The lighting in each space reinforced the theme while drawing focus to features such as auction items, presenters, and performers,” Maureen Patterson, lead designer and co-owner, says. “We partnered with NAC Technologies to handle the sound needs in each space from general announcements, a turn-of-the-century San Francisco style jazz band, award presentation, and high-energy DJ. ArtCares is not only a gala supporting a great cause but also one of the liveliest parties in the city.”
