Solus Lighting rocks!
They made the entire experience super easy for me, and they were the only vendor I did not have to worry about at all. My groom didn’t want lighting, but I finally convinced him, and one of his first words to me as a married couple were “You were right about the lighting.” It completely transformed our space – the guests and our photographers loved the lighting! I cannot recommend Solus highly enough. They were true pros, and were completely stress free to work with!

My lighting was so awesome!!! My brother gifted me my reception lighting. I had pink uplights surrounding the room and during our first dance, our GOBO was turned on over our sweetheart table. It was so pretty. It helped turn a boring ballroom into a classy upscale room. The lighting was set up a day before the event and taken down the day after the event. Maureen contacted my venue directly regarding set up/tear down logistics so that I did not have to worry about an additional step. I definitely recommend Solus Lighting for your event!

My daughter in law really wanted up lighting for her wedding reception. She found Solus Lighting online and both of us were totally impressed with Maureen (Mo). She was easy to work with and understood immediately what my daughter in law wanted. As another reviewer stated this was the “big ticket” splurge item and it was spectacular. The monogram on the dance floor was just fabulous. The reception venue was totally impressed with how Mo transformed their hall. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Solus Lighting to anyone.
Wedding Lighting!
We had our reception at the Cleveland Natural History Museum in the dinosaur hall, Solus uplit the dinosaurs / exhibits and did washes on the floor. They gave us a wide range of color options and patterns and were very responsive. Their equipment is minimal and we didn’t even notice them doing any kind of set-up or take-down. Solus did a fantastic job!

Maureen with Solus Lighting was absolutely wonderful to work with. Of all the vendors I needed to use for our wedding she was by far the most flexible, knowledgeable, and sincere in her efforts. While the lighting packages are a bit expensive, they are worth every penny and more! Maureen completely transformed the museum venue, and the overall look exceeded my expectations!

Solus Lighting LTD provided us with the perfect ambiance for our “Farmstead Wed!” wedding. The cafe lights inside the tent, coupled with spot lights on the trees created such a memorable atmosphere. A MUST for the Natural History Museum
When we booked the CMNH for our reception, we knew we wanted the lighting adjusted from its business hours settings. What we didn’t know was that the museum can only turn its lights “off” or “on”, and so if you want anything dimmer or highlighted (e.g. the dinosaurs in Kirkland Hall), you must start with the “off” position and rebuild all of the light in the space with the help of Solus.
Thankfully, working with Maureen was a breeze, and she was one of the best vendors we had during the whole process. Always quick to respond, always clear, and the lighting design turned the museum from every day to magical.
A vendor that is easy to find when you need them, yet seamlessly blends into the process is such a joy – and Solus certainly delivered on both points. Thanks!

Beautiful cafe lights for outdoor reception!
Maureen did an absolutely lovely job setting up cafe lights for our outdoor reception. It was a garden wedding/reception in the evening with perfect weather and the lights provided a soft warm glow that produced an amazing atmosphere.
