4/20/15 – Solus Lighting LTD received three International Special Events Society Ohio WOW Awards in the categories of Best Event for a Non-Profit Organization, Best Public Event, and Best ISES Event Volunteer Collaboration. The awards ceremony was held on Friday, April 17th at the Ivory Room in Columbus, OH.
“We are honored to be presented with these accolades and delighted to have been involved with events that celebrate and strengthen our community,” stated Maureen E. Patterson (Lead Designer at Solus Lighting LTD). Station Hope was recognized as the Best Public Event. Produced by Cleveland Public Theatre, Station Hope was an immersive arts event that enabled visitors to experience the significance of the Underground Railroad, ongoing struggles of social justice, and the role that the Ohio City neighborhood has served in this mission for over 175 years.
